President Sharryn was an apology for the evening and Past President and Paul Harris Fellow Rex assumed control for the evening.
Secretary Graeme on behalf of President Sharryn welcomed all Rotarians back for the New Year and she was looking forward to the next 6 months of her year as President.
She thanked Jenny and Merv Deppeler for opening up their house for a very enjoyable BBQ evening last week.
Congratulations to all who have so far assisted with the upcoming Clearance Sale in aid of the Warragul Palliative Care Group particularly on completing the extensive letter drop.
 
Pauline Maunder informed members that the Australia Day Breakfast with Judy Farmer as guest speaker on Trees of Drouin was sold out.
Also help with setting up the Anglican Hall for the breakfast at 9:30am on the 25th. of January is needed. If you can help on either days please contact her.
 
John Kinrade told that the planning for the open celebrations in the park were well in hand and volunteers were needed.
 
John Tricarico called for help with the January Market this Saturday January 21st.

Gary Scanlon rose to tell members of a Farmers Expo to be held on February 18th. to encourage and support local farmers doing it tough. Volunteers are needed on the day so if you can help contact Gary.
 
Don Kelly thanked the 33 members who had completed service work over the holiday season supporting the clearance sale. Volunteers will be needed to set up on February 4th. and at the sale on the 5th. Please keep up the support and contact Don, Bill or Peter with offers of help.
 
Ian Haughton happily announced that 7 weeks from now the Motorfest would be over. However between now and then we need workers. Please book your time out now so that Club members can give 100% of their time to supporting what is our major event for the year. Rope in friends and relatives to help out as it is a labour intensive event. Motorfest will be on the Labour Day long weekend March 11th. & 12th. but we need help setting up and clearing up the day before and after as well.
 
Bill Petschack reminded us that we are approaching the Club’s busiest time of the year and he needs members to help, but immediately we need to hand out flyers at the Berwick swap Meet on February 4th. If you can help, please contact Bill.
