It is with great sadness that I inform members of the passing of Rob Collins on Monday night.
Rob was an exceptionally popular member of our Club, having been sponsored by Ian Gaffney, he served as President 2003-4 and held the Secretary’s role three times in 1989-90 1990-91 and 2000-01.
Members will know the high regard that Rob was held in across the community, his impact extended well beyond his Rotary service, right throughout the community Rob was heavily involved in many fields.
A much-loved extremely effective teacher and highly regarded senior educational administrator across the Gippsland and Benalla educational region, Rob’s loss will be felt in many quarters.
We extend to Viv, Stephen and Pieta and families our deepest sympathies at this time.
