The Drouin Rotary Club’s Christmas produce and craft market next Saturday 19th December will coincide with its 14th birthday, and present indications are that it will set another record for the number of stallholders in attendance.

The Club’s Market organiser, John Tricarico, said that additional features will include free treats for the children and a visit by Santa from 10am, while the Rotary barbecue and the popular coffee stall will be operating as usual.  As a “thank you” for the ongoing support received from the many stallholders, a lucky draw for them will be held during the morning
The monthly markets, held on the third Saturday each month in Civic Park, Young Street, Drouin, and the annual Motorfest and the Swap Meet are the Club’s main fund-raisers for its range of projects which mainly are local causes, but also include national emergency relief and some international Rotary programs.
The Market has recently contributed to the Warragul Municipal Band’s plan to compete in the National Band Championships next year by providing financial support from the Market proceeds.
