'Into the Country' Tours & Lorraine's Diner - Meeting 22nd October 2019
Two for the price of one this week, Ray Howe Chair for the meeting introduced Sharron Kennedy, who incidentally is his niece. Sharron started her career in banking but while in Perth she took up a tour guide position and loved it, so she decided to branch out on her own, come home to Gippsland and start up her business “Into the Country Tours”. While on these tours she has become interested in visiting the “quirky” gardens of locals and Lorraine's Diner in Drouin is just one of them. Our hosts were more than welcoming, I believe we all were overwhelmed with the amount of work that had been done in the garden and arrangement of memorabilia and collectables accumulated over decades.
